Englische Relativsätze mit oder ohne Relativpronomen who oder that (2)

Relative Clauses and Contact Clauses

Englische Relativsätze mit oder ohne Relativpronomen - (relative clauses or contact clauses).
Manchmal braucht man kein "who, which oder that" besonders dann nicht, wenn es als Objekt, in einem notwendigen Relativsatz funktioniert.
Beispiel: That is the good looking boy (whom / who - objekt) I (subjekt) saw at the party last week.
An English exercise to help you learn the difference between Relative Clauses and Contact Clauses.
who ==> Personen.
that ==> Für Sachen und Tiere.

When can relative pronouns be left out? We leave out the relative pronoun (who/which/that) if it is not the subject in the sentence. These are then called Contact Clauses.
Example: James (who - object) we (subject) met yesterday comes from England.

Please fill in the gaps with who or that. At the end of the exercise you can write the number of the sentences where you can leave out who or that.
