Using the present participle as an adjective - 1
Participles are used to shorten sentences. You can do this in many different ways. In this exercise I would like you to transform the following participial clauses into a participial adjective .
The past participle describes HOW something is done, whereas the present participle describes what makes it happen (cause).
Here you will only find present participles.
Example:
John saw a girl who was crying across the road - participial clause
John saw a crying girl across the road - participial adjective
