Example: He wondered whether he should take the bus or walk home.
He wondered whether to take the bus or walk home.
Oder:
Indem du eine Infinitivkonstruktion anstatt eines Relativsatzes mit modalem Hilfsverb benutzt:
Example:The children need somebody who can look after them.
The children need someone to look after them.
Oder:
Nach Ordnungszahlen und Superlativen wie: the first, the only one, the next, the last, the youngest:
Example: John was the last person who saw the doctor.
John was the last person to see the doctor.
